(1 review)My father lived at Idlewyald for several years. Over the years staff on the lower ground were miserable, unkind and vindictive. We complained numerous times, and for short periods things improved but due to the core staff, the quality of his care would slide down again. There were good moments due to temporary staff but these were few and far between. Over the years some of the staff were disciplined or fired but until [name removed] goes I wouldn't leave a dog on the lower ground floor. Care on the first floor is good. How one care home can be so completely different is beyond me.

This place has had two residents have serious falls while under their care within a very short time period. A caregiver by the name of Dorthy seems not to care about the last person who fell with the results of serious injury and this is the second person whom has had the same attitude. This the second time for this individuals injuries while the the other person who fell resulted in serious injuries also. Broken arm, broken knee, head truma. This nursing home also tried to refuse the resident admittance back to their rooms after being released from the hospital because of the extra care required stating that they were short staffed.
