From the first day the owner came to visit me and my dad to determine our needs and complete paperwork. Initially there were multiple staffing changes for home care the they did it. I have excellent daily service with same person and very regular. Further I had to add an evening person and again I have terrific service. When there are glitches they respond immediately. I got the recommendation from a place for mom and they were right. I am out of town from my parent so I need very reliable service and they are. Thank you!... Read more

They were very excited about the prospect of being able to obtain a Full Skilled patient (Mom) for 24/7 care but they failed to do a serious evaluation of their own personnel resources to make sure they weren't over-extending themselves knowing that we were in search of ONE competent, reliable, and communicative service. They failed on all counts early in the care of Mom and needed to be removed as the Primary Service. They overstated their capabilities in terms of personnel familiar with patients as complex as Mom as well as being unable to consistently assign reliable and experienced caregivers to her case.

We did not have a very good experience. When I talked to the original person on the phone, she was very nice and helpful. The person they sent to my mother was awful and was on her cell phone and not nice to my mother. I would tell others, if possible, be there the 1st time when the person comes to the house of your loved one so you can see first hand how it is going and how they treat them.

The care/concern which you provided to my Dad [Name removed] on 3/30/2018 was exemplary &compassionate! I cannot begin to thank you both for what you provided to my Dad, Mom and my siblings. Having been a hospice RN & advocate, I know you both too have a hospice heart. I hope you are able to continue this needed & blessed care! Thankful for your care.

So far we have had the initial interview on home site. We were very impressed with the professionalism, ease, thoroughness, attention to detail and respect given to my dad, while discussing details for my mom's discharge from rehab. I recommend exploring this choice for your own needs. Only time will reveal if my mom can accept this new change in her life, but that is true for any type of care being considering.

Homewatch CareGivers really helped me during a very bad time. My mother really enjoys having them there and they are so kind to her, keep her busy and talk with her. They help my mom with her meds and daily care and they make sure that she eats, which was becoming a problem. Their location and background information along with a referral from a friend helped me make my decision on using Homewatch CareGivers. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

We are using Homewatch Care Givers to provide care givers that come to my mother's home for 4 hours each morning. They feed her breakfast and lunch and give her medication. The care givers are caring and well liked by my mother and follow all the directions that we leave. They always leave a note to let us know how things went that day. We did have a few glitches in the beginning that were quickly resolved. My suggestion to anyone with a caregiver coming to their home is to make sure that they call in to the company to let them know they have arrived.
They did a great job and the girl we had was really friendly. We didn't use them long as our circumstances changed. We didn't have problems when we did have them.
Overall we're pleased with Homewatch. The quality of the caregivers has been very good, and we really like the one we've got now a lot! The only issue we've run into is that a few times they have not shown up when we expected them to. I am trying to coordinate the care from out of state, so I am not sure if this was due to a miscommunication somewhere between my loved one, myself, and the Homewatch administrators.
So far things have been working out great. My loved one really like the caregiver and have been getting along well with her. There haven't been any issues with tardiness or scheduling to speak of. They were referred to us as being particularly good at Alzheimer's care, and from what I've seen this may have been a bit of an exaggeration. They do a fine job, but nothing outstanding on that end.
