The Caregivers watched Perry Mason with my mom, worked crossword puzzles, colored books, played cards, fixed meals, helped her to the potty, sat outside with her, walked with her, and on... My mom looked forward to their arrival as much as I did. The caregivers came in all ages and personalities. You can pick the ones your parent is most compatible with. When my mom moved back into assisted living, we still kept our Home Instead ladies 4 days a week. It's better than average but not superior. We had multiple "one time" caregivers. All very nice. Never left us without service.
