i would recommend Home Instead for those in need of home health services. i'm unsure if their staffing issues are related to Covid or just the times we're in, but they seem to be struggling with retention. our regular aide is amazing, but if they aren't available then we're either out of an aide or given someone doesn't provide any care - they kind of just sit there and aren't working. i honestly feel that for what we pay for this service, they should be able to pay their employees better wages. maybe if their hourly rate increased, they might be able to retain more people who are willing to work.... We have had some scheduling problems, sometimes they are late and sometimes they break down on their way. But overall it has been a pretty good experience. We do get a lot of different caregivers, so it can be difficult for them to know what to do, they aren't sure what they are coming into. I would recommend to others.
