They're the only game in town and they know it. We've had some issues with them, and they've just been very defensive and inflexible.
Nothing was wrong with this agency and they would have been suitable for care. However they were not a good fit for my parent.

Overall we were pretty pleased with this service. I thought their administrative staff did a great job. It was always easy to get a hold of them, they were very flexible when it came to scheduling changes, and they were always responsive and helpful with any billing issues. The caregivers themselves were also very friendly, and performed all the care services we needed.
We've had some issues initially, with some confusion about who they were sending. We had to go through a few people and are still working on finding the right one. She is very nice and a hard worker, but she needs a lot of instruction. She is very limited with how far she can drive. Most of the people they have sent have been a little unprofessional in the way they speak, their grammer. They will have the same person coming out, so there aren't different caregivers everytime. Are they going to be a companion or a caregiver. We need both roles to be filled. If the caregiver doesn't come they don't let us know until the day of, there is no advance notice. They offer to make it up the next week, they can't replace them the same day. It's not the caregivers themselves that call, it's the company. They are supposed to be trained to notice if anything is going on and things went unnoticed that could have been taken care of earlier. They are supposed to have a nurse come out once a month, and when I called about it, they said they would look into it, I never heard anything else about it. The nurse has only been out one time.
