We help adult sons and daughters return to being sons and daughters without the daily stress of Caregiving which can improv e the quality of life for care recipients and families alike.
Have been using Home Care Assistance for my dad since the end of April. He wanted to remain in his home but needed extra care. [name removed] and his team have been great and have found caregivers that work well with my dad. They have kept me informed of any changes and open shifts that they need to fill. My dad has been happy to be able to stay in his home and have help with every day chores and I’ve had peace of mind knowing there is someone with him. Would highway recommend using their services.

Serving the community means serving not only our clients and their families but our valued Caregiver staff themselves. Many of our caregivers don't feel as if it's "work" when they are serving the needs of our clients. They have a passion for what they do.
I have been impressed by the level of support given me as a caregiver by Home Care Assistance administration- case managers, scheduler, and trainers. I feel that my fellow caregivers are committed as am I to providing quality care at home that ensures the physical safety, emotional support, and cognitive wellbeing of each client.

September 25, 2024Yes indeed we place a lot of value on providing quality, professionalized Care Management. While many home care companies leave the care coordination to an administrative person our Care Managers all come from skilled clinical backgrounds including Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Though our home care services are non-medical we finding it's critical to have medically experienced eyes on the changing conditions of our clients as they age. This field support gives our Caregivers the confidence to help serve older adults at various stages and conditions of aging.
I was really upset with the staff. It wasn't really the experience that I was hoping for. Both of the people that were sent to me were not trained enough. One person had never been in a home and had only been trained online and no hands on training. They had no experience with showering and taking care of my loved one. They did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend them. One of the workers was fired and I had to pay for her inexperience even when they were letting the employee go.

We do thorough vetting of our job candidates before hiring them and then put them through in-person orientations, online courses, hands-on training, and in-home coaching and training. This takes time to ramp as the caregiver goes to work. In cases where the Caregiver does not follow company policy and training we respond to the client feed back and are willing to let the poor performers go. Our goal is always to provider a stable, long-term client match meeting the needs and fitting with the personality of the client. Thank you for understanding.
We chose Home Care Assistance because of the flexibility on the time. For the most part they have been good with scheduling. They are very quick to fill the time slots and very good about trying to get staff. I was pleased with them and I would recommend them.
