My grandmother was here when I was in high school. I remember it being a stinky place the minute you walked in. It wasn't dirty but it was smelly. It was a sad place, I thought, but again, that was so long ago. They could be very different now. We've certainly come a long way in caring for the elderly since my grandmother was here so they might be different now.
