We had such a great experience with them, we had three total and Gentiva Hospice took care of my mom the last week of her life and it was hands down above any of the other people we dealt with. They were amazing and the things they were able to do to keep my mother comfortable weren't offered with the other ones. i would recommend them to anybody. There was one during the day and one during the night, Gay and Cassie and they were very much hands on, constant communication with the family. They are harrassing my sister on the phone and my brother in person (in a hospice facility). [name removed], out of the Alpharetta GA office, makes claims that she is speaking with the doctor at hospice and that he can leave. When asking the doctor, he states he hasn't spoken with Gentiva. They are trying to save every penny on a dying person. Avoid Gentiva! They asked for my contact info below. I hope Gentiva reaches out. Someone is going to wish they chose a different career!

A Place for Mom has scored Gentiva Hospice 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
