My in-laws were both patients in the rehab and long-term care. The aides were exceptional, getting to know each of them and caring for them as individuals. In 30 years of nursing, I have never seen aides who were so attentive and tuned in. The therapists worked hard to maximize their function. I can't say enough about Dr. [name removed], he is caring, empathetic and kind. This is a gem of a facility.

Overall my mother's stay went very well at Friedwald Center. I would recommend them, in fact, I have now recommended Friedwald center to a friend and they are going to be using it. For the first couple of weeks, we were having an issue but that was eventually straightened out.

I have been very happy with them. The people are very nice. I feel comfortable with her there and not worrying about my loved one when she is there. They have kept me informed when my loved one is there.

It was a very positive and lovely overall experience. I feel the therapists are very aggressive, in a good way. They were really good at getting the patients to push to the limit. We were there over the sabbath and they made that a very nice, warm, and comfortable experience, and I was allowed to stay with my husband in his room. The administration is really second to none in making sure people feel cared for. Housekeeping was also good and came in daily to change the bed linens.

We are very happy with them. I absolutely recommend Friedwald Center to a friend. We have had some issues, as you would with any facility. You have to be on top of the situation.

A Place for Mom has scored Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
