I would recommend the company wholeheartedly. I found First Light for my mother-in-law when she was coming home from a rehab center. She was 95 years old. I hired First Light of Silicon Valley to help my husband take care of her as I was already living with my now 94 and a half year old dad. My husband was recently diagnosed with dementia and remains in the Bay Area for comfort and familiarity after his mother passed while I remain in the Sacramento area taking care of my dad. It was a no-brainer to whom I was going to hire to take care of my dad when I have a 15+ hour day traveling to and from the Bay Area when needed for my husband's care. First Light has been a god send.... Read more

They were incredibly friendly and incredibly compassionate. And they really helped us through some very tough days for my family. But they made the home care part of it incredibly easy for us. They found us crucial help so quickly. And they were such a help in a difficult time. We were really thankful that we found them.

The owner was really good to work with. We ran into a lot of communication issues that have a lot to do with the staffing. It was fixed at the end of things and the person that they sent out was good.
