Ezra Care took the time to match the health care workers perfectly for my wife. Warm, caring, help has been their calling card. I couldn't be more happy than I am. I don't hesitate to recommend Ezra to anyone who needs home health care.

We used a senior aide from Ezra via my employment EAP benefit. My wife had a broken ankle and needed help to get in and out of our house to go to a medical appointment. She was excellent in assisting. While we were at the appointment she did cleaning, and WOW - I never thought to see the living room devoid of fur from our 4 cats! Also, the Ezra manager was very proactive in contacting us once [removed] requested to book them and was available to answer any questions. Definitely recommend!

My overnight caregiver was lovely and interesting. She did what I needed and made sure I was safe. I slept really well knowing that she was near! I would certainly reach out to Ezra if I need help again.

Ezra Home care provided caregivers for my mother for several years and then for my dad for over a year. Their caregivers were kind, patient, and helpful. They were also reliable. They performed personal care, light housekeeping, and provided rides or accompanied my parents for shopping and doctor appointments. The administrative office was responsive and efficient. When my mom moved into long-term care, my dad felt he did not need as much care, but in hindsight, [name removed] said that [name removed] would have been flexible in arranging fewer hours. I would recommend [name removed]home care highly.

The communication and flexibility of the office was spectacular and adjusted to the unpredictable nature of home elder care situations with grace. I was in desperate need of home health care for my elderly mother on a very short-term basis. Ezra Home Care came through when no other agency in the Newton area could. The staff at Ezra bent over backward to help someone who was not a client and with the understanding it was a very short-term need. [name removed] (VP of Sales & Marketing) was extremely responsive and transparent about the worker shortage and the possibility they might not be able to place someone on such short notice (24 hours) and for only a few days. Within two hours of my inquiry, she called me back to let me know they could help. Everyone I dealt with, including the owner, [name removed], and [name removed], the Client Support Manager, were professional, caring and responsive. Thanks to the team at Ezra, my mother was able to stay at home safely, and I had peace of mind from 2,000 miles away.

I can't say enough positive things about Ezra. I recently needed to hire a home health aide to assist my mother on an emergency basis. Our contact at Ezra jumped into action and placed the most lovely woman with my mother. No detail was overlooked; I received updates everyday and was put at ease. I am very pleased with the experience I have had with Ezra Home Care. Both aides are very friendly, attentive , and able to anticipate [name removed]'s needs. Because [name removed] is fairly independent with his care they spend time helping me with light housework, etc. They are very vigilant about handing him his medications ( I leave them out every morning.). They, also, sit and chat with him about subjects he is interested in and try to keep him stimulated and alert. They strongly encourage him to go to the gym everyday and follow his routine. ( the gym is in the building ). They make him his lunch everyday which has been a challenge because of his recent diagnosis of diabetes and his fussiness about food. They have much more patience than I do. Very importantly, they are a huge help transferring his wheelchair into my car for outside appointments since I have a very bad back ! I have felt a huge sense of feeling he his safe whenever I leave the building.

When I was in need of immediate assistance in a desperate situation after hours with my terminally ill mother, EZRA reached out with compassion and promptness and provided immediate critical assistance to my mother-- and were incredibly supportive of me as well. They appeared at my door promptly and provided the most wonderful aide to assist my mother with a tenderness and care I could only marvel at. I will be forever grateful to them for making my mother’s last hours on earth ones of caring and compassion.

Amidst such a trying time in my family's life, finding Ezra was like coming across and oasis in the desert. From the very moment I reached out to the people at Ezra, they were willing to drop everything and meet with me or talk with me about the challenge of the moment. It is rare in my experience to find this level of compassion, competence and commitment. It should go without saying that I recommend Ezra enthusiastically.

[name removed] was fabulous in providing in-home care for my 94-year old father. They were patient in finding him the right caregiver and flexible in the variable hours he required. The caregiver was reliable, capable in assisting my dad with everything from household chores to e-mail problems, friendly but not overbearing and always treated my dad with respect and kindness.

I used Ezra’s services for several months as my mother’s dementia was getting worse and she began wandering at night in her assisted living facility. I had met a representative from Ezra at the Assisted Living residence several years earlier. and I immediately got a genuine and sincere feeling that they would really care about my mom should I ever need their services. When I did need them, they were incredibly responsive and met with me to better understand my mother’s situation in order to select the best caregiver based on her needs. I felt like they really listened to me and worked hard to find the right caregiver match. The caregivers were very professional and did their best to care for my mother, including leaving a detailed written log each day so that we got a better understanding of her baseline. In addition, the Ezra team was incredibly helpful advising me overall on my mother’s living situation. They helped me navigate and submit for her long term care insurance and were always there for support 24/7 literally. One night (a Saturday night) my mother did not want the caregiver to enter her apartment and someone from Ezra’s office was at her apt within 15 mins to help resolve the situation. To sum it up I was pleasantly surprised to find such an incredibly supportive team of people who were so caring, supportive, highly responsive all while providing caring, quality care givers. In addition, they had a profession office staff and organized billing procedures. Overall, I would highly recommend Ezra Home Care.
