The nurses treat people horribly here, they ignore there calls and leave them lay in shit covered sheets when there to lazy to change them after incontinence. They can careless if a resident eats or not, don't bother trying to encourage them to eat if they don't. If a resident goes 3 days without having bowel movement they shove suppositories down there throats and make them go then let them sit in it until they decide to change them. Overall a horrible place. Would never recommend taking your parents, grandparents here. don't even apply to work here, you'll be treated like garbage instead of an employee, there so under staffed that some residents aren't even bothered with because there's never enough time to do anything or spent time with residents when there's only 2-3 nurses to take care of 30-40 residents in one shift. There often neglected. breakfast, lunch and dinner trays left in there rooms for hours on end. There showers are rushed, residents who can't feed thereselves have food shoved down there throats without being offered drinks.

How many ways can I say this place is horrible? My grandmother is 92 and was admitted for rehab after a fall at home with fractures. The staff has falsely documented in her record, let her sit in a chair for 8 hours after repeated requests to be put in bed, had a urinary infection that was suspected and not dealt with for 8 days, and had the call bell removed from her at night because she was "calling too much". She has her daughter advocating for her and was told by the Director of Nursing that she would gladly help find somewhere else for her to go if she wasn't happy with the care. I am a RN myself. I don't know how staff can go home and sleep at night after the way they treat these poor people. Spread the word to family and friends. These patients deserve so much better care than they are getting.

If you are thinking about placing a loved one in this facility here is some friendly advice--double check all the information the administration gives you, keep your own perfect and detailed records, and don't expect friendliness or compassion from the administrative staff. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. However, the information the administrator and her staff provide is not correct and this can devastate your loved ones and your entire family. Proceed with caution!
