My experience with The Legacy at Preston Hollow was close to a nightmare. My mother was placed there for rehab following a hospital stay from a hip fracture. The orders from the hospital were not followed by the staff at The Legacy. She had a bed sore that was never addressed. When I arrived one morning, my mother was struggling to breath only to discover her oxygen was NOT connected. There was no communication between the day and night shifts. When I questioned what meds had been given, I was told "I don't know...I'd have to ask the night shift nurse." Really??? I asked about checking records and was told..."that's not my job". I could go on...but long story short, I ended up calling an ambulance service to remove her and take her home (which no one at the facility helped coordinate). I wouldn't recommend this place if your loved one actually needs care.
