I have had my daughter in this facility for several months now. I have witnessed a lack of care and empathy by a large percentage of the staff. They do not emphasize showering or baths. Very slow response times to patient buzzers. forcing patients to wear undergarments filled with feces and/or urine. I believe my daughter is now in her 3/4th room since her admission. The staff threatens to move her out of the facility if she keeps complaining. We need to provide more oversight and unannounced visits by state inspectors to ensure proper operation and billing. Hopefully the power above will keep all the patients and staff safe. Care and concern will get many of the patients and staff well soon. I'm filing a report with the state ONSBUDMEN and Virginia Department of Health.

This facility is terrible. For the most part they are understaffed and those there don't care about or for the patients. After placing a loved one in their care for about 2 months, we are looking to have her moved elsewhere. This facility lives up to all the negative things said about nursing homes.
