Understaffed and overworked. They use filli ins from staffing agencies, especially on weekends who are not familiar with residents needs and don’t care. Access after 5:00 PM is almost impossible, limited to one unmonitored and locked glass door. The doorbell/buzzer is inoperable and constantly banging on the glass door, even if it gets their attention, they do not respond for long periods of time. The facility is old and outdated. The furnishings are often in disrepair, The hallways and rooms are EXTREMELY NOISY, the noise from the overhead loudspeakers is constant. Not conducive to rest at all. The regular nursing staff is very good but overworked. The CNAs are on average., below par, with very few exceptions. The management staff do not answer their phones or respond to messages. The linens are kept clean as are the floors, etc. The food is fairly good but often arrives cold.. IMO This is a very LOW LEVEL of care. The ratio of staff to patient is quite low and call bottons ignored.
