Comfort Care Home Care was founded on the belief that the highest quality of life for seniors is possible in the comfort of their own homes, with a little visiting support. The dearth of home care solutions in our area at the time drove us to fill a much-neglected gap in the senior care market. We also provide services to people recovering from an accident or recent hospital stay. If you need a little help at home to thrive in your daily life, we can provide that. Caregiving is built on a foundation of trust, so we screen our prospective employees thoroughly before placing them in a client’s home. As a family-owned company, we are able to minimize overhead costs and maximize the value of services we provide to families and loved ones.
We work with you and your loved ones to create a personalized care plan catered to your schedule and needs. Our care begins with a free consultation to assess your situation. Comfort Care Home Care offers solutions for an array of care needs and intensities. Even if you only need a helping hand with groceries once a week, we can assist you. Our caregivers are matched...

I have to tell you it started out pretty good. Unfortunately, as the result of them terminating the caregiver we were left high and dry for about 2 months leading us to move to another company.

Mom has Alzheimer's, and the caregiver always does their best to get my mom motivated and to eat properly. All of the caregivers we have had through them are great. We are grateful for Comfort Care.

This facility has been great. They send me a healthcare worker named [name removed] and she has a godsend. Goes above and beyond! So happy to have her. Everyone I've talked to has been very friendly and responsive

On first visit, the scheduler and owner came out and interviewed us for our needs. They stuck to the plan and the billing was also very simple. Easy invoices to send to my long term care provider. All the caregivers were very nice and always a few minutes early daily. The owner/staff send me monthly schedules and let me know if anyone was going to be late or couldn't make it. My aunt/uncle were very happy with the care and feel connected to them. I would recommend them to others as I feel the job they are doing is great and helps the family immensely.

[name removed] has successfully 'won over my mom' who admittedly was a very difficult oldster prior to [name removed]'s patience, understanding, humor, and conscientiousness. We couldn't be happier with her being mom's caregiver.

It would be nice to have same 1-2 people caring for me. Over 10 weeks they keep assigning new ones who need to be trained on how to care for me. One is very good another was terrible and not welcomed back. Not all staff are trained on hoyers. Seems to me they could train them but they don't. Scheduling is a problem. They call when someone can't make it about 1-2 hours after they are supposed to be here and can't find a sub. So since I'm non weight bearing I can't get out of bed. Real problem.

What we like the most about the Comfort Care Home Care service of Grosse Pointe is that the office staff is responsive. However an improvement that they could make, could be with the staffing consistency.

The woman who came to the house was fantastic. Accommodating, came when everything was going crazy and she adjusted. Very sincere and helpful. The aides who came to the house were polite and some did their job well, and some didn't do it at all. Some were on time, some were not. One didn't have her notebook, so she couldn't get into the house without a code and went knocking on all the doors at a house who had a woman with a walker, who was very weak and couldn't get to the doors and was scared to death. Some acted like they never did the job before. The schedulers were great, sympathetic and great listeners. The price was good, but sometimes two hours is not necessary and it is a wast of money.

Based on our experience with CCHCA, the Organization came highly rated and really was not... The owners were not engaged with our family for the duration of care. Most of the care givers did the minimum of what was required. Some were physically not able to do the job as required. Only two of the numerous care givers met our expectations and went above and beyond their role. We were grateful to have them when needed. This experience was quite eye-opening as to the challenges of the home health care industry to find quality employees.

The person from Comfort Care has been here 4 times so far. Very pleased so far. I could have rated a little higher, but fabulous seems not a good word so far.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Office personel is rude, and aids they send are unkempt. Horrible experience with this company taking care of my mother.

Simply "OUTSTANDING"... if there was a greater word then I would submit it. Beyond pleased with [Removed] assistance and counsel in making very difficult decisions. The in home care person [Removed] is an angel indeed.

This is a great service and we were very pleased that they were able to get us in home care as soon as needed. The staff was always understanding to the needs we had. The caretaker was not what we wanted and this was not a good first-time experience for us. It was not the staff, we would use the service again if needed for in-home care.

I like the service for getting someone to come to my home for care for my husband. The staff found us someone to help with the personal care needed for my husband. We like that she is willing to help with some household responsibilites and that really helps me. My husband does like the care that he is receiving. We would recommend this service and the care taker to other families.

We are no longer needing the services of this home care agency. However our experiences with this agency was a good one. They did a great job taking care of my father, and his needs. I would say that their prices were a little high, but our experiences with this agency went well overall. I would recommend it.
