We appreciated being able to meet two caregivers before Mom's care began. We were sent a schedule for each week and the caregivers were on time and nice people. We would have liked to have just one person the whole time, but understand that our need was only short-term.

Cardinal care was a great experience and I highly recommend there service for anyone need extra care with their love ones. We had to change out providers a few times , although the were really quick to change and accommodate us to insure we had a good experience.
The caregiver is an excellent provider. She is always at my wife's side caring for her. From the moment she arrives till she leaves her concern is my wife's well being. When the provider is out, we would rather cancel than receive a substitute.

[name removed] put diapers in city recycling bins that have stickers on the lids of what not to put in recycling. She locked herself in the bathroom that she has used numerous times and shoved open the door causing damage to the door frame. The door opens inwards and she tried to open it outwards. Mom is always clean, her clothes and bed linens are always clean. [name removed] she would leave pans dirty, allowed grease to run over inside the oven, she frequently ate our food and or take grocery items home with her. [name removed]used the counter top as a cutting board when several were available until we advised her to use the cutting boards. :[name removed]encouraged mom to eat cranberries to help with her UTI's which was helpful. Gloria has mom do some neck exercises.

Based on the experience we have had so far with Cardinal Senior Care, the staff members didn't possess the professionalism I expected from the agency. We ended up cancelling the contract after 5 weeks.

One of the pluses is the people they send have training and are experienced, so they have expertise in dealing with whatever your medical or physical issues are. The other thing I like about the caregivers is they really make an effort to please and be friendly. They have an excellent attitude. There's never anything negative, and they will do their best to do whatever you ask of them. They're never sarcastic or snotty or act insulted by anything you ask them to do. At the the moment we have just two caregivers they send consistently.
