Mom came on a Wednesday afternoon late, the Admissions Director actually waited for her even after her work time was over; was admitted to her room and immediately was attended by her nurse, CNA, and wound care nurse. They cleaned her, made her comfortable, and spent extra time with family to get to know her. Mom was there all day Thursday and was fed by her nurse, bathed and dressed by her CNA, and had her PT evaluation. Unfortunately mom had a set back overnight, but due to the knowledge and quick response of her nurse was sent to the ER. Unfortunately mom never came back to herself and discharged home with Community Hospice. Short as her stay was and with as many Nursing and Rehab facilities I have worked in this was by far the best one yet. I would highly recommend Bayview to any and all my family and friends.... We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Bayview Nursing Center was very very impressive. The facility was well kept and clean, and the staff all seemed very friendly and professional. However, it was also one of the most expensive options that we saw, and not in the price range we were looking for.

A Place for Mom has scored Bayview Nursing and Rehab Center 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
