Top notch care

I was reading past reviews on Avamere in Newport Or. and could not believe what I was reading , our experience at Avamere Rehabilitation center was by far the best care , they had compassion, physical therapy was top notch , very considerate, hard work staff , really great food , I even was allowed guest tray to enjoy a meal with My adopted mother who was recently there and was there over a month , she was always treated with respect , even activity’s lady was able to get her to have fun playing bingo and other activities with other residents , they all were friendly and I heard no complaints from staff of residents , to do it all again Avamere would always be our first choice My 88 year old adopted mother misses being there , so if you read negative reviews from past, give them a chance you won’t be disappointed, Ina Tatum & Tracy Bjornsen... Frequently Asked Questions about Avamere Rehabilitation of Newport

A Place for Mom has scored Avamere Rehabilitation of Newport 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
