Our mission at Assisting Hands is to provide clients quality and personalized non-medical care services that allow them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We understand the difficulties of finding compassionate help. Our caregivers are kind and dedicated to providing quality assistance with daily living activities, among other in-depth services including: fall prevention, grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, and companionship.
Caregivers at Assisted Hands are bonded, insured, screened and extensively trained to ensure our clients receive the best caregiver to help throughout their day. We value and respect the privacy and intimacy of being in our clients’ home. Assisted Hands is dedicated to making sure we complement the lifestyle of everyone we serve by promoting a refined balance of both autonomy and support.
“Assisting Hands is an amazing organization that cares for people with integrity, safety and love. I have known the owners for about 20 years, and I would trust them with any loved one. It’s hard to find reliable, responsible help and support these days, but with Assisting Hands you can’t go wrong! You won’t need to look any further.” - Catherine Gamble

What they can improve on is they can get better employees who actually do the work. At the moment based on the experience I have had, I would not recommend Assisting Hands Home Care of Centennial to other families.

We have employed AH for about one year and have had well over 30 different caregivers. They seem to stay for a few days or a couple weeks and then leave. The current lady has served for about 6 weeks and that is the longest tenure. However, a substitute is always provided. The managers are all friendly and understanding. When a new caregiver begins, it takes several calls and explanations to get the work done properly. The care receiver has dementia and can not communicate her needs. All instructions have been laid out in a spreadsheet and should be easy to follow, but most new care givers don't do what's expected until repeatedly explained. It's expected that a note will be written for each visit, but this is not always done.

Response from Assisting Hands Home Care of Centennial, CO
February 2, 2024I do believe I know which client this is, as this does not happen often. I do want to apologize for the amount of different staff that have been involved in her care the last year. It did take a much longer time to find a consistent caregiver over the long term, but thankfully we have someone who has been consistent for the last 2 months. I do appreciate the faith you have had in our company to provide quality care to your friend for the past year. We will continue to work on keeping a consistent caregiver there.
We use home care services for my loved one through Assisting Hands Home Care of Centennial and the overall experience has been good so far. The agency and its owner have conducted themselves in a professional and ethical manner. They have strived to fulfill all of the expectations that we have created. I would recommend this agency to others.

[name removed] has been my husbands care giver since May of this year. He is extremely satisfied with how she interacts with his daily needs. Alway trying to assist in small household choirs, plus giving her attention to my husband. She has been a god sent and we have been very fortunate in having her here to help my husbands progress.
Assisting Hands Home Care has been absolutely amazing, we have had no issues what-so-ever with them. They are responsive, they do what they are asked to do, what more could you ask for. I wish everyone was like them.

I would highly recommend this service to others based on my experience. Communication was good between the staff and our family and if they had to replace a caregiver they did so quickly. The caregivers were friendly and so was the office staff.
