Angels Around You Home Care provides exceptional home care services to seniors and their families in the central and southwest Florida regions. As a home care provider, it doesn't have a residential facility — rather, they send trained and compassionate caregivers to your own home.
The staff members are equipped to handle a variety of needs, from basic housekeeping and companion care to memory care. Most seniors request personal care services, which can include assistance with grooming, incontinence care, and bathing. Many also enjoy assistance with meal preparation and some light housekeeping. Caregivers are also able to help with the most difficult points of a transition to or from a hospital and to aid in the recovery process after a procedure.
While clients need assistance with their physical health, the caregivers at Angels Around You can also help maintain their client’s emotional and social well-being. Many come prepared with conversation topics or activities, and many seniors enjoy having someone to eat with and talk with throughout the day. You can contact the coordinator at Angels Around You Home Care for further information about licensing and insurance.

We don't use the meals and dining service. Very flexible changing schedules and even people; my Aunt is very tough. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The lady they sent did try, she was a sweet young girl, needed to leave by 1:30 on Wednesdays to get her children which was earlier then I wanted. The main reason we hired them was to have an house keeper and friend which is what my mother had in someone for 17 years until that ended. We wanted someone till at least 2:30. Two days a week. The Angels around you sent— did help with the cleaning. Made the beds, washed small space kitchen floor, did laundry, walked the dog, served previously prepared food… She made the statement it was too much work for the little money and I’m not sure she stopped working for us she may have quit entirely …. They did try to help but in the end determined they didn’t have a staff member for our 2 day a week request. So I had to move on.

I believe the service provided by the Angels is terrific. My mom gets a huge sense of security and companionship, each and every time one of the angels show up. They’ve helped her with healthcare needs, Dr. needs, normal errand runs, cooking, and mundane house requirements. This has been a huge help to my mom and she is grateful for the service.

From signing, up to having workers at the house it has been a great experience. My mother is very grateful to have the assistance and is off TV dinners?? My aunt is getting needed assistance with medication and it allows them to live together. I love the flexibility in hours. Other places are a mandatory 4 hr block.

We only used them for 2 weeks. The one thing a client needs to find out if are getting a male or female care giver. My wife did not want a male giving her a shower.

My mother has dementia and consistency is very important with somebody that has dementia. My biggest concern is that I am not getting a consistent caregiver or days of the week, so it's challenging for my mother.

The first caregiver we got did not work out. I called them and said we needed to find someone else we took a break for a week because my sister and brother were here. My mother got very ill quickly and I called them back and they had someone there that night. They worked very well with me. Encouraged open communication about the caregivers so to make sure we had what we needed.

We are completely satisfied with the Angels, my only concern is that my parents will run out of money soon. I am so thankful for their prompt response to our time in need. They provided caregivers for us on very short notice and have been helpful in all of my parents caregiving needs. Everyone I have dealt with at the agency are polite ,friendly and respectful.

They are very flexible and try to develop a care plan that fits for your needs. I picked them because the owner called me directly and worked with me to create a care plan that worked for my parents.

I think the biggest variable is knowing how to best know what to expect from the caregiver in terms of household cleaning, and other duties other than direct patient care. Because you personally did that type of work without being asked but none of the other caregiver's did unless asked. Mostly because I wasn't clear on it. And as a family going through a crisis, it's hard to retain everything you're told about the type of services available. We LOVED 2 of the caregivers we had, [name removed] especially and one other whose name escapes me. I would give them both 5's. The others were pleasant and helpful but not as accommodating and I would give them a 2-3 score.

Good reliability, staff is very caring. Communication was good at first, but now is problematic. So absent that, hard to really know what is going on. Not sure l would recommend based on the communication factor.
