I am pretty happy with Angel Gardens. They do a really good job. The staff keep everybody in the activity room an really try with the activities. There are a lot of dementia residents there and my mom is on the higher functioning level, so I do wish they had some more engaging activities. I think they are under staffed at this facility also. Thank you to Angel Gardens for the care and love you have given to my mother. We came to you 4 weeks ago and I was a tad concerned at a change for my mom in care. You are more then I ever could hope for. Mom has the freedom to be herself. She has been given the dignity to care and love others and truly blossom in your day care program. She is happy and free to grow. She is struggling with Alzheimer’s and I can see a true improvement in her condition. You care for mother and truly support in her care and life. The activities keep her stimulated and social. That is the key. She came from a location that would place clients in a lock down area. Mother is a care giver and I had less then 24 hours to find a new home for mom. You opened the doors with love and the facility is clean. This is a place that the soul and heart lives from within. Never judge a book by its cover. Angel Gardens is deep love, consideration and respect. I thought God was closing a door… No he was opening the gates to peace and contentment. He opened a place where mother is safe and secure and super happy. That is all that counts in life. At this stage please be happy and find a home that cares. Love the staff and truly I am thankful for the support. Thank you for being here for all of us.

Having a family member at Angel Gardens has been a nightmare. My family member was always soiled and we had to hunt for an aide to assist us to clean her. Once she was found on the dining room floor with no staff around. The staff always told us about all their activities, but whenever we came she was either tied into a wheelchair or in bed. The director assured us that if we were dissatisfied with the care, we would get our security deposit back. In less than a month she was transported to the hospital with dehydration. The director refused to refund the $4000.00 security deposit. This facility is poorly staffed, and a nurse does not pass the medications. I was desperate to get her out of there at any cost.

When we toured this community I noticed the building looked old and depressing. It was not bad but the rooms were small and I was not able to see any activities offered.

Not a clean facility, administrator and owner constantly too busy to answer any questions. Was promised help with starting VA paperwork instead I keep getting the run around.

This place should be a 4-1/2 star rating. My problem is that they don't take Medicaid patients and we can't afford their pricing.
