American Grand Assisted Living Suites

Great staff! My family couldn’t be more pleased on how well my mom is being taken care of great job! Very clean and very organized. After my dad died I didn’t think she would ever smile again but now she is.

I would recommend American Grand highly! My mother lives there and she is in the best hands! She loves the caregivers, activities they provide. I can sleep well at night knowing she is in good hands!

American Grand has been very nice to our family for the past six years. My mom is very happy. The food is good, caregivers are very attentive, it’s always clean and organized with lots of activities. They even have a van to bring mom to appointments.

I am a 59 year old resident with Cerebral Palsy and I have lived here for a year and half. I have found most of the staff to be friendly and willing to provide help when they can. They keep the community clean and hire private cleaning services to clean the resident rooms but lack in consistency. With a few exceptions the food is excellent and freshly prepared. There are activities to participate in but during isolation caused by the pandemic I wish there were more. They provide transpiration to both private and public outings if scheduled in advance and also provide transportation to medical appointments.

They have no maintenance people hired so when residents have things break it takes weeks to get anything fixed. Everytime there is even a tiny storms all the residents phones go out and they stay out for days if not a week at a time. So good luck getting ahold of your loved ones. They are severely understaffed and cannot help the residents living there in a timely manor. Most residents have to help each other out just to get by day to day. Most residents have complained about ants and other bugs inside, even in the food storage area. Yet nothing has been done about that either. All they want is to charge you thousands a month and basically leave you to fend for yourself. Oh and the rooms get cleaned maybe once a week if that because they dont even hire a cleaning or maintenance service. So basically if u want to stick someone you hate in a nursing home send them here because they give no cares about the residents and their personal needs. They just want to collect a check thats it.

I toured the American Grand. It is a brand new community, and when I was there, it was about half complete. I found that I did not care for the community. I felt that the apartment they showed me was dark, small, and I felt contained. I wanted a place with more space, and with a brighter, more comfortable feeling.
