We were Amada clients for the past 6-7 years. Amada is none of the things they promised when we signed up. They DO NOT do caregiver training or basic skills verification, and multiple employees confirmed to me that Amada is hiring "warm bodies" they know aren't competent and placing them in people's homes. Amada caregivers relieved us of over $[removed]in food, $[removed] in damage to my custom-built cabinets, charged services for themselves (nail salons, beauty salons, etc.) on our credit card, added our card to a Venmo account and charged $[removed]-worth of the caregiver's bills to our account. Cleaning supplies and household décor disappeared weekly. Caregivers may or may not show up. They arrived late, left early, or spent entire days on their phones while my loved one was ignored. Caregivers left her in bed alone all day rather than doing prescribed exercise or providing company. Her condition has markedly declined under Amada's care, and what has been lost can't be recovered.
