I was looking for nursing and home health aide services for my husband. I researched four companies which included Alvita. The sole reason I chose them was bc of their pricing being lower than some others and the Nursing Director was very helpful and informative when I spoke to her. Fast forward to the day care was supposed to start and the nurse presented dazed and confused. Had no knowledge of my husbands history or what nursing care needed to be done. I hid my frustration and tried my best to walk her through. Days 2, 3, 4, and 5 I was sent all different nurses and basically same theme. In choosing to take the high road and stay professional, we did switch agencies. One that was more expensive but we are very happy as they are giving us a true concierge experience. As the old adage goes “you get what you pay for” and in our case this was true! If on a budget or seeking an agency similar to one that takes Medicaid, this is the agency for you.
