I wouldn't go to any other agency Ally Independence gave my mom quality care from the CNA's that came to assist her they were all kind compassionate, caring, respectful I've called them once again after my sister passed away to come and sit with my mom, when ever we'll need help we will call [name removed] at Ally Independence we are glad that God put them in our lives and for that I am grateful

I would tell others that there will be multiple caregivers. Its hard to get one or two consistent caregivers. I have a schedule that varies considerably due to my healthcare profession. Ive had to follow up with each caregiver, especially of someone new because they arent sure what needs to be done. The owner has helped by updating them and have them check in with me. The other thing is the limited translation/interpreting services and it's up to the caregivers to be proactive with using google translate or other means. So there is room for caregiver companionship improvement, but really nothing to be done. I would like to get a discount with the caregivers who dont speak the patients language. In my opinion, the owner should have a translating service (via phone or tablet) in these instances, because honestly the patient misses out on the companionship and therapeutic relationship that comes with having a conversation and allowing the patient to be heard and listened to. Ive even offered to pay extra if a Spanish speaking caregiver is available. The other thing I'd add is that sometimes caregivers call in and there isnt always a back up available and there's no guarantee. That can be stressful. I think people should just be aware this can happen.

The owner, [name removed] , was so easy to deal with. Communication was great. We loved Melinda but my mom ended up going into the hospital and now is in a board and care home. I would highly recommend Ally to my friends and family. Everyone was so helpful from the beginning to end. They were understanding of the situation and so patient.
