The caregiver sent out for my Dad was very good. She took good care of him, found activities to keep him moving like dancing as he loved to listen to music. She did do some cleaning and my mom was very happy with the quality. My parents really liked her. Unfortunately, she was out sick for an extended time, and they didn't have anyone to replace her. The VA then approved paying for several hours a week of care for my dad, and referred a different caregiver agency, so even if she was able to come back they weren't using that agency.... Read more
Allied Caregivers provides nonmedical home care to Bedford, New Hampshire, and the surrounding area. As a home care provider, Allied Caregivers doesn't have a facility — instead, they send qualified, compassionate attendants to care for your loved one in the comfort of your loved one’s own home. Their services cover every need besides medical care. Live-in care, personal hygiene, dementia care, companionship, respite, veterans care, and mobility assistance are all provided with professionalism and genuine kindness.
Caregivers are able to help with daily tasks like meal prep and laundry, and they can even help with transportation to and from appointments. They can also aid with more personal tasks, such as helping a loved one with their sponge bath, fixing their favorite hairstyle, and ensuring they wear appropriate clothing. For seniors with dementia, professional memory care is available.
Because it’s an agency, Allied Caregivers provides you and your loved one security in knowing that the caregivers undergo a background check, receive training, and are held to high standards. They also provide insurance to protect you and your family. Furthermore, all case managers are always available to help you feel like you’re getting the best services possible for you and your loved one.

Poor communication from office. Elderly parents left without help for weeks and still without help or communication. No reply to my urgent plea for help. In my experience when they did supply an aide, they were not trained. Promises were not kept. It’s very sad when the elderly depend on an agency, and they drop the ball.

I would recommend you find someone else. We would have caregivers scheduled; however, there were times that the caregivers wouldn't show up, or cancel and the office staff wouldn't communicate the change with us. There was a lot of inconsistencies with the caregivers and them showing up to assist the family in care with our loved one. Eventually we ended up canceling the service. You had to either call the boss or leave a message and have the office staff return phone calls. Overall, they were nice to work with.

The management team is fantastic, the care givers are so friendly and ours specifically would get 10 stars. The value for cost is great, and if a family was considering higher Allied Caregivers we would say absolutely go for it.
