5 without a doubt! We lost my Dad on [date removed] He was ready, and so was heaven. We couldn't have been more pleased with the care provided by [name removed] through Advocate in home care!!!! We had 24 hour care for the first few days, then decided 12 hours during the daytime was enough. I had called them in the afternoon, and an aide was there that evening for in-home care. [name removed] cared for Dad 6 days a week, and helped to train caregivers who came if she needed time off or on Sundays. She was invisible until she was needed, and then she was very caring and professional when she was needed. The care that DAD received probably saved my stepmother's life.... and that is not an exaggeration!... Read more

First, I want to thank [name removed] personally for visiting me in the hospital September 16th and expertly enroll me in your home care services. Your kindness and efficiency speaks well for the position you presently are holding in your organization. Good work! Second, your CNA [name removed] was an excellent choice. He was thoughtful, kind and preformed his duties to help me recuperate nicely. I would highly recommend this agency for home health care as they are professional and caring.

Check around with caregivers to see what is offered to you instead of taking the first one. Make sure you know about the billing practices. Having never had to have a care giver didn't know questions that should be asked.

The only thing that seems to be problematic is the turnover. The first caregiver lasted 2 weeks. This new one has been here for 2 weeks and is talking about getting a full time job.

The caregiver that we have is excellent!! She is constantly on the go, she makes meals for my dad, does his laundry, washes the few dishes in the sink. She always lets me know if she is running late. I would recommend Advocate In-Home Care to anyone.

I would recommend Advocate In-Home Care to others for their loved ones. The caregivers have a strong accent and this can make it difficult to understand the instructions from the caregivers to my loved one. They are able to provide light housekeeping for my loved one.

We use this agency for my wife that had a stroke. We have a young lady staying in our spare room. She is very attentive and she listens and is very compassionate. She will do some light housekeeping and will cook meals for us. She will go to the grocery store. She is very knowledgeable and will walk with my wife and do some exercising. I would recommend this agency to families.

They were very good when I was using their services. A guy named [Removed], came to talk to me and he was awesome and gave some suggestions. The caregiver came to our house for 5 days and night. They were awesome too and I would use them again. I would recommend them too. They gave me time to get some rest.
