About the agency

Acasa SeniorCare of Tampa Bay is one of the largest and most established senior home care agency in Florida. Founded in 2012 as a response to a lack of suitable care agencies for the founder’s parents, it has since become one of the best and most reliable home care agencies. As an agency, it is licensed, bonded, and insured, which means that the family, your loved one, and the staff are protected.

Because it’s a home care agency, it doesn't have a facility — rather, coordinators send qualified, caring, and trained caregiving professionals to your home. This allows your loved ones to receive the help they need without the stress of moving to a new facility.

Acasa offers a wide range of services and hours. Seniors can receive companionship care, in which caregivers come by to engage your loved one in conversation and games designed to fight loneliness and mentally stimulate. Caregivers can provide reminders to take medications, and they can help with grocery shopping and meal prep. Personal care, such as grooming, toileting, and hygiene, is also available. Caregivers are also qualified to provide more specialized care, such as memory care, helping with stroke complications, caring for seniors with Parkinson’s, and...

They don’t care about the patient only the money

We have an in home caregiver we really like she is so good with our mother and your company only cares for itself we would like [name removed] have [name removed] 5 or 6 days a week she is working 930 to 130 every day. We really like her and your company is not working with us to have her do it. They care more about [name removed] employees getting hours we need the help we need for our mother not what you need for your employees. They can get other people. My mother-in-law needs the same person every day and it helps her. She has Alzheimer’s and dementia and we’d love [name removed] working with her it is 100% better when she is here and you and you need to pay her more money than what I think you are paying her. She is 100% good with patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. You don’t know what you have working for you, and that really bothers me as a company if you lose her, you will lose a great employee.

I would not recommend them it was a bad experience

Some of the caretakers were great and others were terrible. We had to have repairs done to our house because of them and things went missing and we have still not been able to locate the missing items.

Fantastic Experience!

The team at ACASA has been so helpful. It really does take a load off of your shoulders when someone understands what you go through day to day living with a family member who suffers from dementia. What I found surprising and quite pleasant is that the caregivers go through extra training by a certified dementia coach before they are allowed to be with anybody. I would have to say that having a nurse run the company and knowing that someone gets what I'm dealing with gives me peace of mind when I go off to work daily and leave my mom. Thanks ACASA Seniorcare!

my experience

The service was inconsistent and they would cancel the last min. The care service was inconsistent and the back office people didn't do the thing they needed to. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
