Residential Care Home
Joe's Place is a Godsend. The place feels very homey and not institutional. I feel very comfortable leaving my dad there while I go to work.
Overall I would rank FPH in the top 3 that I looked at. And I looked at a dozen or more. Best caregiver to patient ratio , homelike environment. I liked the small footprint of each home, (they have 3 ) with 12 or 13 patients per home. The homes are new and spacious with outdoor courtyard for ambulatory patients. You can do hospice in place and the staff is very accessible and accommodating.
I had been using this location for day care but as my husband's condition got more severe I decided that keeping him here would be the best thing. The staff is wonderful they treat him so good. The communication between myself and the staff is wonderful. They express genuine concern for the residents. They try and encourage them to participate in the appropriate activities. The community is always clean well maintained
