The apartments are spacious and the cost was actually better then other places we had toured. The kitchen staff was so friendly and helpful with our loved one her first week of moving there, they really helped her adjust and make her feel comfortable. They have church services and outings once a week to a grocery store. They have movie nights and holiday themed parties and activities. They really try to encourage everyone to interact with one another. We would absolutely recommend this community to others.... Read more

I came home after 1 month and 3 days in hospital nor too happy with the facility. Ended up costing me about [fee removed] I wish I had never been there. I was lied to from signing the contract to talking to company lawyer. I hope they have gotten better. Worst month of my life. I would tell others to make sure and question the sales person first about their promises.

I had the opportunity to visit and tour Volante of Peachtree. The property is a perfect size, the staff are very friendly, and the grounds are landscaped well. The room accommodations are nice and I would feel comfortable with having a loved one live here.

Response from Peachtree Senior Living
September 4, 2024Hello, Was this review meant for Volante of Peachtree? We haven't had the problems that you mentioned, and one of the other senior living providers nearby had elevators that were out of order at the time of your review, and we knew that was a concern their residents had. If this review was indeed meant for Volante, the community tean would love to discuss with you to better understand. Thank you.
Peachtree did not offer the medicine reminder. The senior living side was really nice. The assisted living side is $3200, for not-so-nice rooms. The smell was awful.

We chose Peachtree because she has severe heart problems and it was only 3 minutes away from my sisters house. She is in independent living but they also have assisted living available. They have been good with communication and send me weekly updates which I really appreciate. The meals are chef prepared and you get a choice off of a limited menu. It is a bright, clean, friendly facility and they have a lot of things to keep the residents occupied. They have local transportation as well so for someone looking for something in independent living, this is the perfect place. I would recommend them.

I would advise others to try the community. The director of the community is leaving, and she has been rude to my family. The kitchen staff is rude, and not wanting to wear their hair nets. The community could use some improvements overall.

They took really good care of our loved one while she was there, the community was very clean and everyone we came into contact with was wonderful. Our family was very pleased with the value, and the quality of the care was great, as well as the constant communication. There was a lot of activities posted to their board as well as a lot of residents participating in activities.

My grandmother stayed in Peachtree’s assisted living facility for quite some time. She loved it!! When my grandmother first moved in, they welcome her with completely open arms. They took SUCH good care of her. They checked up on her numerous times daily and also took time out of their busy day to sit down and talk with her. One time when I visited, as soon as I entered the room there was a staff member talking to her cutting up and laughing the day away. She loved everyone there and never had anything negative to say when I came to visit. The staff was always so attentive and caring. You could definitely tell they truly cared about each and every patient there. The experience my grandmother had at Peachtree was nothing short of amazing. I am so thankful that God blessed us with Peachtree and the many friends & memories we hold close to our hearts because of this place. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to call home— THIS is the best choice!!!!

I would like to take the time and tell you how much I LOVE this place! I can’t say enough good things about Peachtree! My mom has always been a very strong woman, when she went to peachtree she came straight from rehab and she was at a low point in her life mentally and physically! Thanks to peachtree and there wonderful loving staff she started making a turn around and before we knew it she was eating with friends, singing karaoke and loving it there! Mental health is just as important as physical and she began to love them like family. Thank you peachtree again for going over and beyond for your sweet residents as well as their family members. Covid-19 come along and threw all of us for a loop. I am very impressed how peachtree handled the situation by making sure the residents is safe and loved during a rough time that some of them does not understand. I have a peace of mind knowing my mom is in good hands safe, loved and happy which means the world to me! Again thank you peachtree and all your loving staff especially [name removed] the director, [name removed] and [name removed] for ALL you have done you will forever hold a special place in my moms heart as well as mine! Please give them a call if your looking for a home away from home, I promise your love one will enter a resident but you will leave part of a family! Love to all ??

Peachtree is the BEST! My grandmother went there about 11 months ago straight from rehab after a fall and she has come so far in such a short amount of time! The staff there is honestly THE BEST and truly cares for all of their residents! They are very interactive with each and every one of them and always make sure they have everything they need. They keep them moving and active! [Name removed] is over activities there and she is so creative in coming up with different activities that keep the residents interactive and busy! From lunch at Cracker Barrel, to hometown parades, to karaoke parties and luaus, she is the best! My grandmother has done so well there and I honestly cannot say enough good things about peachtree! They definitely get a five star rating from me!

I would like to take the time to let everyone know my first hand experience with the Peachtree Senior Living Community. My Mom went to Peachtree about eleven months ago after a short stay in Re-hab from a fall. The Assistant Director made a personal visit to her home and gave us the wonderful news that she could be accepted and they would love to have her. That began a journey to a wonderful recovery and relationships that will be lasting for a very long time. She has flourished at Peachtree. The staff are so loving and caring. I have been to the facility almost every day as I live close by, for these eleven months. It is like a scene from "Cheers" where everybody knows your name! The administration and staff welcomed us, even with grandkids in tow, to activities, sing-a-longs, luau's, birthday parties, and even parades. It is so exciting to see how they invite the community in to interact with the residents. The local high school seniors come on Sunday afternoons to lead BINGO and were part of the Luau and even dressed up in Hawaiian clothes and did the limbo which thrilled the residents! They loved to see those young people enjoying the Luau with them. The Activities Director adds so much fun to the residents days. With singing, exercise, fun activities, and so much more, it is hard to list all the activities here. I have had many direct interactions with the Executive Director over this time period for advice and assistance and she is very experienced and willing to assist over and above the call of duty. I could give many accounts of my Moms stay at Peachtree but I suggest you give them a call. This is a trying time as over the last month we have seen unforseen changes due to the COVID19 Virus. I am impressed with their handling of precaution and ways to help families keep in touch with their loved ones. If you have a loved one needing assisted living or independent living, don't hesitate, give them a call. Check them out! You will be happy you did.

Response from Peachtree Senior Living
April 8, 2020Thank you, Danny! Your recommendation means a lot to the team.
I filed a formal complaint against Peachtree Assisted Living facility located in Trussville and the Director due to the Covid-19 outbreak to the ALFC-ADPH and other State of Alabama agencies that investigate along with other of my concerns. I came to pick my Mother up the end of March, this was her last day at Peachtree in the Assisted Living Facility. The Director along with her staff were not wearing gloves while handling my mother's belongings nor were the staff wearing gloves when they brought my mother out. They were physically helping my mother out the front door which is a violation of health care procedures during COVID-19. The staff came out and was hugging my other family members without using the 6 foot distancing rule and then proceeded to go back into the facility to handle other residents, this too was a health violation due to COVID-19 outbreak. My mother is 90 years old and has COPD, Congestive Heart Failure along with Dementia and she did not need to be exposed, it is life threating more so for her due to her age and health conditions. There is one resident that has full blown Alzheimer's and has walked out several times and the Trussville Police found him and brought him back. This is not a memory care facility and so therefore why do they accept residents into the Assisted Facility with Dementia and Alzheimer's? Money perhaps? The Director has the most unprofessional attitude as well as the most unprofessional method of running this facility. She does not return phones calls. Both my sister and myself had tried calling her on multiple occasions and she NEVER returned our calls until we contacted the Ombudsman and got her involved. The Director interjected her personal opinions about me regarding my mother as I was trying to have a financial discussion and she did the same to my sister. If you are thinking about putting your loved in this place, run do not walk out of this place!

I cannot praise this place any higher. We were needing a place for my Grandma and we got her a beautiful apartment, and she LOVES it! She lacked an excitement for her days and now she is too busy with activities to call us back! We love them so much! Thank you Peachtree!

We could not be more pleased with the experience at Peachtree Senior Living. The upgrades that have been made are just wonderful. The staff treats the residents with such care and is so accommodating. The Executive Director [name removed] is the best! She is very approachable and seeks to know each resident and their family to make sure they have the best experience. You won't be disappointed!

A Place for Mom has scored Peachtree Senior Living 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
